Charging time of solar LED floodlight
Charging the solar LED floodlight is very easy, just simply leave it on the sun to recharge the battery. It takes six hours to charge the floodlight fully. If the battery is fully charged it will last for approximately three nights without access to the sunlight. The typical life expectancies of the solar LED floodlights are about 35,000 hours which is around four years but only if the light is constantly being used.
Working temperature
These solar LED floodlights work in a temperature of -15 degrees Celsius to +45 degrees Celsius. So this floodlight is just perfect for English weather because In the wintertime the temperature doesn't go below -15 and in the summertime doesn't go above +45 degrees Celsius.
Where and how to mount a solar LED Floodlight?
We have three options of how to fit them.
You can either:
Wall mount
Wall mount it simply by using an electric drill to screwing in the two screws to attach the bracket to the wall.
Lamppost mount
Simply by using the included lamp post mounting bracket. It works with lamp post of diameter 40-60 mm with a round lamp post and square lamp post with a side length of 30-40 mm.
Standing on
You can just simply keep it standing on the floor and move it around to where ever suits your viewing needs.
Recommended installing hight of the solar LED floodlight
Where ever you need to place this LED Floodlight will be fine for your needs but for the view that we recommend is 3-5 meters high above the surface. And where ever you do fit the LED Floodlight make sure there is plenty of sunlight because it is powered by the sun.
Which size solar LED Floodlight?
In our range, we have two of these solar LED floodlights.
The first one we have is LED line solar LED floodlight SMD 10W neutral white IP65.
Our second one is LED line solar LED floodlight SMD 5W neutral white IP65.
Our 5W solar LED Floodlight provides light of 500 lumens which is approximately 70W halogen floodlight. It comes with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh. Which guarantees continuous operation for several hours after being on a full charge. This solar LED Floodlight can be wall-mounted or put on a flat surface but you will not be able to install it on a lamp post as you can do with the 10W version.
Type of material
Our solar LED floodlights are made from aluminium which means they are lightweight, they are anticorrosive which is great because they do not ever rust which means they stay in good condition and you won't need to replace the floodlights body because it has a protective coating. It is also an excellent conductor of heat. Aluminium is fully recyclable which makes it environmentally friendly.
Waterproof solar LED floodlight - IP rating
Our solar LED floodlight has an Ingress protection rating equals IP65. The IP65 means the solar LED Floodlight is protected against dust and water spray from all directions that would normally be harmful to the device.
Luminous flux
This solar LED Floodlight produces the light of 1080 lumens which is the equivalent of 150 watts of halogen floodlight. The device is equipped with energy-efficient LEDs with very high luminous efficiency - over 100 lm/W.
Beam angle
Our LED solar floodlight gives light at a 90-degree angle. Which means they will perfectly illuminate the spot that you need as well as the near surrounding area.

There are four setting buttons which allow you to set the light according to your needs.
The first button (the power button) allows you to switch the light to be constantly ON or OFF.
The second button (the sun button) allows the light to be OFF in the day time and set the light ON at 20% brightness at dusk.
The third button (which looks like three arches with dots around them) allows to turn the light on automatically at dusk and remains at 3% brightness. When a motion is detected within a detection area (8m) the light turns on to full brightness (1080lm). After 20 seconds of no motion, the floodlight goes back to 3% brightness.
The fourth button (three arches) allows the device to stay constantly OFF when there is no movement. If the motion is detected in the detection area (8m) the floodlight comes ON to full brightness (1080lm) and stays ON for 30 seconds until no more movement is detected.
