    LED line® E14 → MR16 Lamp Socket Converter

    Convert an E14 lampholder to accept MR16 lamps.

    This compact E14 → MR16 adapter lets you fit an MR16 LED lamp into a standard E14 (SES) light fitting — perfect for display lighting, accent spots, and retrofit projects where you prefer the MR16 form factor. Maximum lamp wattage: 20 W.

    Key features

    • Simple retrofit: screw into any standard E14 (SES) lampholder — no tools required.
    • MR16 compatibility: accepts 50 mm MR16 lamps (typically GU5.3 pin base).
    • Compact & lightweight: unobtrusive profile for pendants, table lamps, and display fittings.
    • Best with LED: designed for low-heat, energy-efficient MR16 LED lamps up to 20 W.

    Important compatibility & safety notes

    • Not a voltage converter. Most MR16 (GU5.3) lamps are 12 V. If your E14 fitting is on 220–240 V mains, add a suitable 12 V LED driver. Never power a 12 V MR16 directly from mains.
    • Check the lamp datasheet and ensure driver and lamp are compatible.
    • Respect the 20 W max lamp rating and provide adequate ventilation.
    • Always isolate power before installation.
