GU10 to MR16 light bulb adapter allows the use of the MR16 LED bulb in GU10 fitting. The MR16 socket in this adapter is designed to work with G5.3 and G4 pins, therefore, you can use MR16, MR11 and G4 light bulbs with this adapter. Maximum light bulb Wattage: 20W.
Important!
Please remember that the GU10 sockets/lights are 230V and the MR16 and MR11 can be 230V or 12V.
If you connect a 12V light bulb to a 230V system the bulb will explode, therefore, the LED driver (for LED bulbs) or Electric transformer (for halogen lights) need to be installed to reduce the voltage to allow safe operation of 12V light bulbs in GU10 socket.
