Simply the Tuya Smart is an application to control smart products via mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets. The TuyaSmart app is available for both iOS and Android operating systems.

As you can see the TuyaSmart app supports a lot of different home appliances. After downloading and installing the app you will need to create an account which is pretty straight forward.
You can create a TuyaSmart account using your email address or mobile phone number. From our experience using mobile phone number is a better option as it helps later to quickly share any smart devices with your flatmates or family. enter your mobile phone number or email address and tap on "Get Verification Code". The code will be sent to your inbox or messaging centre straight away and it will contain 6 digits which you will need to enter on the next step of registration. Once the code is entered you will need to set your password.
Your account has been successfully created! Welcome to TuyaSmart app and enjoy all the benefits of Smart Life!
Now you can customise your account:
- edit your nickname
- add profile photo
- set temperature units (Faranhight or Celcius)
- set the time zone
Tap on Home Management to create your own home, add home members, create rooms within the home and many more.
Now you can start adding new Tuya compatible devices. To do so, go to the "Home" tab and tap on the orange "+" button in the top right corner, choose the type of device eg. Electrician, Lighting, Large Home Appliances, Small Home Appliances, Kitchen Appliances, Security & Sensors, etc. then choose the product you want to add eg. Smart Camera and follow the instructions on the screen.
