    Design Light Surface Furniture Switch WM230 — Compact 230 V Inline Control for Cabinet & Furniture Lighting

    Bring neat, fingertip control to your fittings with the Design Light Surface Furniture Switch WM230. This low-profile, surface-mounted switch is purpose-built for cabinet, wardrobe and furniture lighting, combining a clean modern look with everyday reliability. Pre-wired with a 2 m, 2 × 0.75 mm² lead for rapid installation, it’s ideal where you need a discrete mains switch right at the point of use.

    Pair the WM230 with our under-cabinet lights or use it on the mains side of a suitable LED driver powering LED strip lighting for a tidy, dependable setup. For alternative formats and colours, explore all switches & accessories.

    Installation notes

    1. Isolate the mains supply before any work.
    2. Mount the switch on a clean, flat surface using suitable fixings or adhesive pads.
    3. Wire in series with the Live conductor; Neutral (and Earth if present) should bypass the switch as per your circuit design.
    4. Secure strain relief/cord grips and verify all connections are tight.
    5. Restore power and test ON/OFF operation.

    Safety: Indoor use only (IP20). Installation should be carried out by a competent person and in accordance with local regulations.
